Our nice bronze figure of a dancing girl in a costume of harlequin was created by a famous Hungarian sculptor Sandor (Alexander) Jaray, born 1870. The artist studied in Viennese Academy and later in Berlin. In Berlin he was an actor first, probably he took his types from the theatre life of that time. Later Jaray studied in Rome and since that time took part in exhibitions in Berlin. Also he created several monuments.
