Impressionistic scene in a garden before a monumental dome, probably in Rome . The painting executed by high listed Italian artist Giuseppe Barison. Giuseppe Barison( 1853 Triest - 1931Triest), he studied in Venice and Vienna; here by Eduard von Enghert . From the City of Triest he recieved the scholarship and travelled to Rome , where he lived in 1880-1882. Here he became acquainted with Mariano Fortuny. 1882-97 Barison lived and worked it in Venice. B. turned first to the history painting too (among other tpaintings " Isabella Orsini e IL suo paggio", Triest), change however fast into the subject of the genre painting. His paintings were exhibited in Venice (Un dono del fidanzato, 1882; Fish market in Venice, 1890), Milan (Pescheria A Rialto, 1886 [Premio del principe Umberto]), Berlin (1884, 1886), Munich (1888, 1900, 1901, 1907), London (1889) and Vienna (Road scene in Venice, 1885; L´ anello di fidanzamento, 1888; Cronaca allegra, 1888; Ostfriesin, 1891; The old model, 1909). 1911 he won the Concorso for the equipment of the newly built Triestiner Cassa di Risparmio; 1912 he created two paintings "Costruttori" and " Mercanti" B. remained uninfluenced inhis painting bending to the decorative art, by the new currents at the beginning 20. Jh. (by Umberto Veruda, Arturo Rietti, Arturo Fittke and Isidoro Grünhut hat in Triest admits among other things made), always the academicism of the 19.Century.
