Nice watercolour with polish(or west ukrainian) village scene was executed by Adam Setkowicz, famous Polish painter, lived and worked in Krakow, Poland. The artist began his artistic training at the Fine Arts School, which he attended in 1891-94 and in 1897-98, with Teodor Axentowicz. He was principally a landscape painter ("Pejzaz jesienny" at the Lvov Picture Gallery), though he also worked as batalist ("Bitwa - epizod z powstania 1863 roku", exhibited in 1891 at the Lvov Gallery) and watercolourist.
