Beautiful portrait of noble children was executed in the middle of 19th century. The painting is very similar to famous children portraits by outstanding Hungarian portrait painter Miklos Barabas (1810 - 1898). He studied at the Vienna Academy and in 1830 returned to Hungary where he worked as a portrait painter. Later Barabas took a travel to Italy and worked in Rome, Venice, Florence and Naples. In 1840 he returns back to Hungary and creats portraits of almost all celebrities of his time. His portraits are exhibited in numerous Hungarian private collections as well as in the Fine Art Museum in Budapest. Barabas active workes till his death in 1898.
