Early distant landscape with Pyrenees and figures of peasants was created in 1831 by a famous French architecture, landscape and historical painter Charles Caines Renoux, born 1795 in Paris (died there in 1846). Works of the artist are located in many European museums and palaces: in Paris, Amiens, Leipzig, Nantes, Orleans, Versailles. Renoux is listed in Art Lexicons by Benezit, Thieme-Becker, Nagler.
