Large genre scene from polish or ukrainian folk life with wedding party in the winter landscape was executed in the end of 19th century by listed Austrian horse and genre painter Eduard Goetzelmann (1830 Vienna - 1903 Vienna), who was popular at the time for his horse and genre folk scenes espessial from Austrian crown provinces and was a regular participant of Austrian and international art exhibitions.
