Baroque landscape with horses and farm on the background was executed in the second half of 18th century and although unsigned, this painting of the highest quality attributed as absolutely authentic work of the famous 18th century animalist Johann Dallinger von Dalling senior (1741 Vienna -1807). Comparisons with his paintings convincingly confirm this statement. Johann Dallinger v. Dalling senior studied at the Vienna Art Academy in 1759-1764 by Vincent Visher and Meytens and 1771 he recieved the place of a inspectors of the prince Liechtenstein´ painting gallery and since 1771- as its director. D. implemented some large altarpieces, but his most acknowledge broken him his animal and battle scenes , from which most came to collectors in Poland and Russia. - His both sons Johann ( 1782. - Vienna - 1868),and Alexander Johann (1783 - 1844) studied by the father in the art, and became famous animal painters too. Jonann Dallinger the junior worked since In 1803 prince Liechtenstein´ gallery as Adjunct, 1820 appointed the gallery inspector and 1831 the Director of the firstmentioned collection. He was an excellent animal and landscape painter, in the representation method of the dutchmen and special call enjoyed its pieces of horse.
