High quality romantical portrait of a young lady with classical landscape in the background is a typical work of a represantative of German Romanticism in the early 19th century. Due to the provenance of the portrait and comparison of stilistic details we attributed this early work to the hand of a German artist from the circle of important Berlin Romantic painter romanticist Friedrich Wilhelm von Schadow ( 1788 Berlin - 1862 Duesseldorf).. k
