Interesting early topographical view of old St.Christoph am Arlberg in Austrian Tirol was executed by famous Austrian landscape painter Anton Altmann junior (1808 Vienna - 1871 Vienna). Since 1821 pupil of Vienna Art Academy 8unter J.Moessmer) , went as drawing teacher to Count Apponyi to Hungary . Since 1838 his main direction was landscape painting , which motives he took from his travells to Austrian Alps.
