Lovely portrait miniature of a young artist in the studio was executed in 1822 by listed Austrian historical and portrait painter Leopold Bucher (1797 Schwechat - after 1858 Vienna). He studied and worked in Vienna , exhibited his works in the Academy Exhibitions from 1830s to 1850s.
