Masteful winter painting with hunters in sledge, going to the hunting, was executed by famous Ukrainian-Polish hunting and landscape painter Zygmunt Rozwadowski (1870 Lwiw (Lemberg) / Ukraine - 1950 Zakopane/Poland). He studied in the Art School in Cracow (1887-1891) and by Azbe in Munich (1892-1893). Since 1893 he settled in Lemberg (Lwiw). . From 1910 to 1920 je worked as professor of Industry School in Lemberg . Rozwadowski was popular battle, hunting and horse painter and worked with famous polish battle painter Wojcech Kossak under creation of Panorama of Battle by Raclawice (in 1894). His works situated in the National Gallery in Lwiw/Lemberg and in Warshaw.

Inscription: signed lower left.

Technique: oil on canvas. Original period partly gilt frame.
