Romantical forest scene with a beautiful rider,costumed in historical dress, signed and dated Lamy,1876 and due to the style and composition was attributed as early work of good listed French landscape, figure and nude painter Pierre (Desire Eugene) Franc Lamy (1855 Clerrmont-Ferrand - 1919 Paris). He by Pils and Gerome, since 1880 exhibited regular at the Salon de Paris.Works by him situated in museums of Clermont, Maqon, Nice and Rouen.
