Large old master decorative painting executed in the late 17th - early 18th century and despite the fact that the painting is not signed, similarity of the style, the composition and its quality give reason to be attributed to the hand of Austrian-Italian baroque painter Franz Werner von Tamm and his studio.
Emperor Leopold I called the Franz Werner Tamm, who was born in Hamburg around 1695, as court painter to Leopold I of Vienna. Here he became a leading representative of still life painting with a large influence on the genre in the 18th Century.
