Our romantic night scene at a fire on the sea-run with harbour on the background was execvuted in 1853 by listed Belgian painter Johan Janssens (born 1809 in Antwerp), pupil F.de Braekelaer, exhibnited his genre coastal scenes since 1838.

Technique: oil on wood. Luxuriousy original period gold-plated frame.

Condition: in very good condition.
