Modernist genre painting, created ca. 1900 in own unique pointillist manner. The author Spiro (Spiridon) Bocaric (1878 Budva - 1941 Banjaluka), famous painter of Serbian origin. He studied at the Academy in Venice, lived and worked till I World War in Sarajevo / Bosnia and then in Banjaluka. His portrait, genre and interior paintings in pointillist technique with Ottoman motives are very popular among collectors in Europe and Turkey.
