Russian laquer box was executed on the famous Russian imperial manufacrture Wasili Osipowitsch Wischnjakow and sons, ca. in 1862-1888. A lacquer papier-mashe box used as container for storage and igniting of matches, on the hinged lid- hand-painted miniature with Russian peasant beauty.
