View of the well in the garden of palace Belvedere, Vienna. This painting was executed 1930 by famous Austrian-Czech genre and landscape painter Othmar Ruzicka (1877 Vienna - 1962) and exhibited by the Viennese Artist Union "Kuenstlerhaus" in 1931 (on the reverse there is the original exhibition label). Othmar Ruzicka studied at the Viennese Academy under A.eisenmenge, Julius Berger and kasimir Pochwalski. He was awarded with the Golden Medal in 1913 and the Golden Laurel in 1947. His favorite motives were from South Moravia, Slovakia and Upper Austria. In 1918 he was military painter in albania. Since 1907 - member of "Kuenstlerhaus", in exhibitions of which he took part since 1920s.
