Fine flower still life of roses in a porcelain vase was executed by good listed Austrian flower and still life painter Anton Wrabetz ( 1876 Vienna-1946). The painting was exhibited in 1923 by famous Viennese Artist Union "Kuenstlerhaus"(see photo with the exhibition´s label). The artist studied from 1891 to 1895 at the "Kunstgewerbe" school in Vienna( by Minnigerode) and since 1895 at the Vienna Academy by J.V.Berger and Sigmund L´Allemand. At the beginn of carrier he was a portrait artist and later most of all as flower and still life painter.Since 1906 his works were regular exhibited by Artist Union "Künstlerhaus", which member he was since 1921. In 1933 he recieved the Dumba Prize and in 1937 - the Goverment Prize.

Inscription: signed and dated 1922 lower left, on the reverse - original exhibiton´s label of 2Kuenstlerhaus" with inventory number and dating 1923.
Technique: oil on wood. Original period partlally gold-plated frame.
