"Bride-show", this masterfully genre Rococo palace interior scene was executed by well-listed Paris genre and portrait painter Paul Joseph Leyendecker (1843 - 1891). He studied by Gerome and Signol, worked in Paris, exhbited at the salon de Paris from 1865 to 1891, His painting "Joseph interprets the dreams of Pharaoh" situated in the museum of Bourges.

Technique: oil on mahagony wood panel. Magnificent original period gold-plated frame.
