Monumental hunting still life painting created ca. in 1880s by listed painter Louise Max-Ehrler ( 1850 Florence - 1920 Aigen by Salzburg). She is the represantant of famous artist´s family from Bohemia (the genealogy and biographies of each member see in the art lexicon by Thieme/Becker, Leipzig,1999). Our still life created by this female artist under influence of Historicism style of Austrian painter Hans Makart , by which she studied in his special school of historical painting at the Vienna Academy in late 1870s, early 1880s. Louise Max-Ehrler was born in 1850 in Florence, in the age of 14 years came to Praque, where she began her first art study. She studied in Munich by Josef Flüggen . Here, in Munich she married painter professor Heinrich Max. Later she moved to Vienna for study by prominent Historicismus painter Hans Makart. After study she settled with her husband in Munich and then in Aigen by Salzburg.
