Dynamic scene with a wedding procession in the Polish village was executed by famous Polish horse and city view painter Władysław Chmieliński (Stachowicz) (Warsaw1911 - London 1979).Władysław Chmieliński was a painter associated with Warsaw, where constantly lived and worked. From 1926 to 1931 he studied at the Warsaw School of fine painting and Ornamental City (former Class Block). The leading theme of his paintings were urban views, painted olejno and watercolor. In the years 1935-1938 he created a series of watercolors depicting Polish objects of architecture; among them, the views of Sandomierz, Krakow, Kazimierz on the Vistula River, as well as the Interior of the historic churches or palaces, among others. The Royal Castle in Warsaw and the Palace in Wilanów. He painted also landscapes and rural scenes-sleigh rides, sanny, sledging, weddings, horses against the backdrop of the landscape. In the years 1967-1969 he for longer stays to Denmark. In the years 1936-1939, the artist also used the pseudonym "Władysław Stachowicz ďż˝.
