Bright and colourful impressionistic oil study of a trade ship at the dock in Fiume (in the time Italian, now Croatian port Rijeka) was created on the turn of 20th century by listed Italian-Croatian painter Carlo Ostrogovich ( 1884 Veglia /Carnaro - 1962). The artist painted primarily landscapes , worked in Milan, special exhibitions in 1917, 1928 and 1939 in Fiume, 1939 and 1942 in Milan. His works situate in the Civico Museum in Rijeka.

Technique: oil on cardboard, original period Art Nouveau frame.

Condition: in very good condition.
