Romantical seascape by moonlight was executed in 1858 by good listed German marine painter Karl Heilmayer (1829 - Munich - 1908). He studied at the art academy in Munich, trained themselves further independently and undertook study trips to Bavaria, Tirol, Italy, later to France, Belgium, North Germany. From this journeys took he most of his seascape motives. His paintings treat mainly fluffy fogging immune gene and moon nights, with preference with romantic figures and motives from the countries of his trips. Frequently represented he on exhibitions in Munich, Berlin, Dresden, Vienna. His works situated in City Galleries of Munich, Bamberg, Chemnitz, Linz and Mainz.
