This religious watercolour was executed before 1850 by unknown master in the style of Nazarene School and was purchased from the property of Royal House of Hannover ( important "century" auction of Sotheby´s in the Castle Marienburg "Works of Art from the Royal House of Hanover", 5 - 15 October 2005, Lot 3326).

Inscription: unsigned, on the front side at the bottom of the glass is glued label of Sothebys with lot number; on the backside of cover - few labels of Royal property and inventory numbers.
Technique: watercolour on paper. Luxuriousy antique partially gold-plated wood frame in the Renaissance style.
Measurements: unframed w 20 1/8" x h 24 3/4" (51 x 63 cm,) framed w 28 3/4" x h 33 7/8" (73 x 86 cm).
