Humorfully hunting painting was executed by listed German genre, hunting and landscape painter Meno Mühlig. He was born in 1823 in Eibenstock and died in 1872 in Dresden. The artist studied by Julius Hübner and worked in Duesseldorf, he was the father of the famous artist Hugo mühlig and brother of the painter Bernard M. Artis´s famous paintings :Betfahrt in snow ( Gemäldegalerie Dresden )The jeweler ( Province Gallery Graz ).
