Enough rare hand-painted lacquer box with view of the Red Square in Moscow, made on the Fedoskino workshop before 1967, signed by the author, on the back of the box cover is original gift memory inscription in Russian: " From the trade youth to the city committee of the Young Communist League (Komsomol, abbreviated VLKSM) on the 50th anniversary of the Great October Revolution".

Inscription: signed and dated 1967, on the back of the box cover : original memory inscription in Russian: " " From the trade youth to the central committee of VLKSM (abbreviated for All-Soviet Young Communist League on the 50th anniversary of the Great October Revolution".

Technique: lacque, oil on papier-mashe ( a construction material that consists of pieces of paper, sometimes reinforced with textiles, stuck together using a wet paste (e.g., glue, starch, or wallpaper adhesive). The crafted object becomes solid when the paste dries).

Measurements: box h 7 1/2" x w. 5" x deepth 2 1/4" (19 x 12,5 x 5,3 cm).

Condition: in good condition.
