This view of the Bay of Naples in the moonlight was executed by an anonymous artist until 1830 and due to the composition and very similar style resembled Neapolitan paintings of famous Russian Romanticist Sylvester Shchedrin (1791 St.Petersburg - 1830 Sorrento).
