Masterfull painting created in the best traditions of russian realismus and depicting river lanscape with a russian peasant girl on the front and a village on the back ground . This work created created in 1853 by listed russian landscape painter Petr (Pjotr) Stepanov . The artist studied at the Art School of Painting and Sculpture in Moscow and later at the Art Academy in St.Petersburg. In 1855 he obtained the title of master of oil painting.
