Masterfully genre scene with monks as wine experts was executed by famous Italian genre painter Arnaldo Tamburini (1843-Florence - 1908). He exhibited at exhibitions in Venice and Florence from 1880s to 1900s. Our work was exhibited In Florence by artist union „Associazioni degli artisti italiani“ in 1906-1907. Tamburini‘s portraits of King Umberto I and of Emanuel II are in the Museum Civico in Pisa.
