. The artist was a typical Dutch romantic landscape painter, was born in 1816 in Amsterdam. Begun actively exhibiting since 1838. He created a lot of romantical works with summer , winter and forest landscapes.
His paintings are in museums in The Hague, Amsterdam and in many noble private collections.
