Hunting painting was executed in 1907 by listed French animalistic painter Victor Marcou (1879 Rouen - 1934 Paris). He studied at Beaux Arts in 1892-1896 , was student by Dufour and Marchand. He won a medal in 1913 by Concours de Paris.
Inscription: signed and dated 19(07) lower right, antique bronze plaque with the name of the artist , mounted to the frame; on the back there is an old label with the biography of the painter.
Technique: oil oncanvas/cardboard. Luxuriousy original gold-plated frame.
Measurements: unframed w 27 1/8 " x h 23" (69,5 x 58,5 cm), framed w 35" x h 31" (89 x 78,5 cm).
