Romantic landscape (in Italy or Switzerland) with a town on the background and shepherds with their herd at the lake. It was executed ca. in 1860s by of Austrian landscape painter Leopold Heinrich Voescher (1830-Vienna-1877). From 1846 to 1851 he was a student at Vienna Academy by Anton Hansch. In the 1859-1883 he made study travels to Austrian Alps, Tirol, Italy, Switzerland. From 1864 to 1874 he lived in Munich, was the member of the Viennese artist union "Kuenstlerhaus" (since 1861).
