This impressionistic seascape was executed on the turn of 20th century by good listed Austrian female painter of Hungarian origin Ida (Iduna) Thern (1859 Budapest - 1953 Vienna). She studied at the Viennese Academy and exhibited her works at the exhibitions of the Viennese Art Salon Pisko in 1909 and by Albrecht-Dürer-Union, Vienna in 1916 (as member of this).
