Sunny impressionistic scene in the terrace garden in Capri was executed by German painter Harald Diecks (1863 Hamburg - 1889 Gries by Bozen/South Tyrol). From 1881 to 1883 studied at the Dresden Academy, then under Prof. Dücker in Duüsseldorf. Lived many years in Italy , where he executed landscapes and animalistic paintings. He died early at the age of 26 year.
