This Classicism portrait of a noble child , due to the antique label on the back of the canvas, depicts Franz Roch in the age of 6 years and was painted in November of 1819 by Georg Ridler ( Riedler), Viennese portrait painter, who worked in 1815-1820s. In 1816 he exhibited in the academically exhibition of St.Anna his portrait of colonel Küffel von Küffelstein , depicted after the battle of Ebersberg.
