Stormy coast with a lighthouse by Listed German marine painter Max Jensen (1860 - Berlin - after 1908). Jensen studied at the Berlin Academy of Arts, then continued his studies at the Academy of Arts in Düsseldorf. He exhibited his landscape paintings at exhibitions in Germany, Denmark and Holland. Max Jensen lived in Berlin, but spent a lot of time on the North Sea and Baltic Sea coasts, where his maritime motifs with often raging sea waves and stormy cloud landscapes we´re created.
