Forest landscape with a Roebuck on the bank of a forest pond was executed by German painter August Fink (1846 Munich - 1916 ibid.) as a merchant; around 1865 start of studies: Fine Arts Academy Munich with Adolf Stademann, Eduard Schleich the Elder, from 1872 with Adolf Lier, later with Josef Wenglein. From 1878 as a painter in Munich. appointed professor by the Prince Regent in 1889; Honorary Member the Academy; 1905 Gold Med. the Munich annual exhibition in the glass palace. – autumn erase from Dachau, from the Amper, from the foothills of the Alps, but also hunting scenes as well as depictions of mountains and animals, still strongly indebted to the Biedermeier period, but with tendencies towards Impressionism, particularly influenced by Wenglein.
