Landscape with peasant figures at water stream and snowy mountains on the background was executed by listed French painter and sculptor Mauris Louis Fonville ( 1863 - Lyon - 1825). He was the son of landscape painter Horace Antoine Fonville. Student of the National School of Fine Arts in Lyon.
