Busy oriental street scene , probably, in Marocco, was executed around 1900s by listed Austrian landscape and still life painter Anton Konrad Schmidt (1887 Vienna - 1974 Vienna). He studied at the Viennese Art Academy under Sigmund l‘Allemand and Kasimir Pochwalski. He travelled to Persia, Tunis, Marocco and exhibited his works at the Viennese Secession, Artist Union Künstlerhaus.
