Village scene with sleigh ride was executed by famous Polish painter Czeslaw  Wasilewski, also known as Ignacy Žygmantowicz (born 1875 in Warsaw, died 1947 in Łódź ).

He learned the craftsmanship himself, and in 1911 enrolled at the Warsaw School of Fine Arts, but there is no evidence that he had studied. 1917 He would probably be a student of Wojciech Kossak. He lived in Warshaw and had his own style, and his works tended creative individuality. Mostly he painted glamorous sledging, sanny, scenes scenes, winter landscapes, hunting scenes. In his paintings, he alluded to the works of artists such as m.in. Józef Brandt, Józef Chelmonski or Alfred Wierusz-Kowalski. He participated in several national exhibitions in Lublin, Czêstochowa, Gdynia and Poznañ. He has repeatedly exhibited in the company of the Zachêta Arts in Warsaw. Currently his works are located in the collections of the National Museum in Warsaw, in £añcut, Leszno, Lodz.
