View of a Venetian canal was executed by well renowed and high quoted Austrian landscape and architecture painter Carl (Karl) Kaufmann (1843-1905). He studied at Vienna Academy and was active in Vienna in the 1900s. His Venice, Rome and oriental cityscapes brought him the world glory.
