Beautifully and monumental still life with different fruits was executed by prominent French still life and flower painter Jean-Pierre Laÿs ( 1825 Saint-Barthélemy-Lestra - 1887 Ecully ). The artist worked in Lyons (1851-1856), Paris (1852-1887).
