Commemorative sheet for the Battle of the Falkland Islands between Germany and England on 1.12.1914 during WWI . Under image of the battle are German inscriptions:

Gedenkblatt für Schlacht bei den Falklandsinseln between Germany and Enland on 1.12.1914.

Here is English translation:

Count von Spee takes on the battle with the enemy's main force and goes down fighting hard. Likewise his two sons.

Commemorative sheet for the Battle of the Falklands Islands between Germany and England on December 1st, 1914.

The fight was too unequal to end in Spee's favor;
Sturdee (vice-admiral) had 30.5 cm cannons on both battle cruisers and Spee 21 cm, hence the embarrassing advantage, as well as the speed of 26:20 nautical miles.

drawed and painted according to reports by Orth Al.. on 20 Juny 1923.
