Coastal scene by unloading the fishing catch was executed in 1832 by French landscape and marine painter Eugéne Raymond Goethals (1804 Bordeaux - 1864 Paris). Pupil of famous marine painter Baron Theodor Gudin. Exhibited in Paris Salon in 1835 - 1864 with his coastal views of Normandy, Calvados, Gironde. He is a good but so far almost completely forgotten representative of the School of Fontainebleau.In museum Calvet in Avignon are two marine works by him.
