Genre dog painting by renown german animal artist Adolf (Karl Friedrich Adolf) Nickol ( 1824 Schöppenstedt - 1905 Braunschweig). He was a pupil by Brandes , lived in 1853-1854 in Rome. Works are in the City Museums of Braunschweig and Königsberg(Kaliningrad).
