Beautiful flower still life was created by famous Austrian portrait and still life painter Joseph Jost , born 1888 in Vienna. The artist studied under the tutelage of Fraz Rumplers at the Vienna Academy and already in 1908 exhibited his works at the Vienna Artists Unit. In the following years Jost frequetly exhibited his paintings there. To continue his education he travelled to Italy and Albania. In 1920 Jost became a member of Vienna Artists Unit.
