High quality biedermeier animals painting by the well-known Austrian artist August Gerasch (1822 -Vienna - 1908 ). August Gerasch

was a pupil of Leopold Kupelwieser and P.J.N. Geiger at the Vienna Academy. Later he became a renown genre painter and lithographer with regular participation in Austrian art exhibitions.
