Nice horse painting created in 1847 and purchased from the property of Royal House of Hanover ( castle Cumberland, Gmunden(Austria)) by important auction of Sotheby´s in Castle Marienburg "Works of Art from the Royal House of Hanover", 5 - 15 October 2005, Lot 1895). The artist Eduard Scharlach ( 1811 Hannover - 1891 Hannover) was genre , horse and military painter in Hannover, pupil at Academy in Dusseldorf by Theodor Hildenbrandt . This painting hung a lot of time in Painting Gallery of Hannover Museum . On the reverse of painitng there are different labels and stamps of Hannover museum , castle Cumberland and Sothebys auction .
