Nude painting came from the same old Viennese collection as previous item number 5153 and was executed by good listed Austrian painter Anton Josef Storch . He was born in Verona on November 8, 1892. He began his education at the Vienna Academy in 1910, until 1914 under Josef Jungwirth and from 1914 to 1917 with Kasimir Pochwalski. During his studies, he made numerous trips through Europe. His Work is multifaceted, he worked as a landscape, portrait, genre and Still life painter, as well as a Graphic artist and as An Art critic. At the Beginning of his artistic Career, his Works were influenced by Impressionism, but in later Times he felt more committed to Expressionism. In 1911 he received the Honorary Badge of the Viennese Artist´s House and in 1914 he received the great Golden Füger Medal for Landscape Painting. The Artist participated in numerous Exhibitions during the First World War, including the Vienna Artists ´ House, the Hagenbund in Vienna And the Secession. In 1920 he worked as a Professor. Anton Josef Storch died on 1 June 1978 in the area of the United States.
