Winter landscape somewhere in the Austrian Styria was executed in the style of Classical Modern and due to the very close manner was executed to the hand of Austrian landscape painter Alexander Drobik ( Teschen 1890 - 1968 Salzburg) , who lived from 1934 on a mountain farm near Kindsberg in Styria.
The visual impressions of the mountain world that he collected in these years are reflected in his landscape paintings. Landscapes with naturalistic features make up the majority of his oeuvre - the Beskids and the Tatra mountains, the Dolomites, the Dachstein and Bernina mountains not only determine his painterly work, but are also implemented in etchings, woodcuts and lithographs. There are also industrial and sports images.
